Recommended Use
Designed for rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas that are active chewers and foragers. Best used indoors in a hutch, playpen, or free-roam space. Ideal as a daily enrichment feeder stuffed with hay, leafy greens, or small treats to encourage natural foraging behavior and reduce boredom. The Small size suits dwarf and mini breeds; the Large size suits standard and giant breeds.
How to Use
- Choose the correct size for your rabbit (Small for dwarf/mini breeds, Large for standard/giant breeds).
- Open the reinforced door flap at the mouth of the bag.
- Fill the bag loosely with hay, dried herbs, pellets, or small treat pieces.
- Hang the bag from the hutch bars or set it upright in the play area.
- Let your rabbit sniff, nudge, and chew to access the food inside.
- Refill daily or when empty to maintain engagement.
Care and Maintenance
- Shake out food residue and debris after each use.
- Hand wash with mild soap and lukewarm water once a week.
- Air dry completely before refilling — do not machine dry.
- Inspect the mouth edge and seams weekly; replace if fabric shows significant fraying or loose threads.
- Store flat or hanging in a dry area when not in use.
Important Limitations
- Not suitable for cats, dogs, or animals that will destroy fabric in a single session — designed for controlled chewing by small herbivores.
- Not a watertight container — do not fill with wet or liquid food.
- Not a replacement for unlimited hay access — use as a supplemental enrichment feeder only.
- Supervised use recommended for very young or unusually aggressive chewers.
- Fabric will show wear over time with daily use; this is expected and does not affect function.
